OSHKOSH, WI — The owner of the powerboat involved in last week’s hit-and-run involving commercial stern-wheel pleasure cruise paddleboat on the Fox River in Oshkosh is now under arrest and charged in that case. The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office says 52-year-old Jason Lindemann of Oshkosh is charged with 12 counts of Recklessly Endangering Safety 2nd Degree, which is a felony and 11 counts of Failure to Render Aid after a Boating Accident, which is a misdemeanor. 43 people were aboard the “On the Loos Cruises” paddleboat at the time of the crash. One required hospitalization for non-life threatening injuries. Several others were treated at the scene and released. Investigators continue looking for two other occupants who were aboard Lindemman’s 45-foot powerboat.
