GREEN BAY, Wis. — One person is injured after being shot on Green Bay’s east side.
Police were called to the 700 block of Chapel View Road just after 11 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a fight involving two people.
Upon arrival, officers came across a distraught person who tried to flee the scene.
During the course of the incident, shots were fired, and one person was injured. They were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No officers were hurt during the incident.
The Green Bay Police Department will hold a briefing on the incident Thursday at 1 p.m.
