MENASHA, Wis–The Menasha School District will go to the voters in November with a 100-million dollar referendum question. The money would be used to tear down the existing Maplewood School and build a new one on an adjacent property.
The new building would house two schools in one–with kids in fifth and sixth grade in one secion, and kids in seventh and eighth grades in the other. District officials say the referendum would not raise property taxes–as previous debt will be retired by the time construction starts.
