CHILTON, Wis. — A family is displaced after a house fire in Chilton.
It happened Sunday afternoon in the 300 block of E. Brooklyn Street.
The fire began in the kitchen and was contained to that room. However, there was smoke damage throughout the home.
While the family was able to evacuate, two dogs died due to the amount of smoke.
The cause of the fire was not released.
