APPLETON, Wis–A final decision on revising Appleton’s policy on gardening in terraces adjacent to city streets is on hold until next month. The Appleton Municipal Services Committee votes Monday to defer action on the proposal. Some committee members say the revised policy is lacking in specifics. Alder Shari Hartzheim says the revised policy does not address residents’ concerns.
The policy is expected to be on the agenda when the Appleton Municipal Services Committee meets on October 10th.
