MADISON, Wis–The owners of a COVID testing company that set up sites around Wisconsin will pay fines of 22-thousand dollars for misleading claims about their services. Aleya Siyaj and Akbar Syed ran the Center for Covid Control, L-L-C, which promised COVID test results within 48-hours.
A number of customers complained to the state that they either received their results in more than two days, or they never got test results at all.
The Center for Covid Control in Darboy was raided by the F-B-I in January. Workers had claimed they were not provided with proper personal protection equipment, and questioned the handling of test materials.
