FOND DU LAC, Wis. — Fond du Lac police are investigating a shooting incident between two vehicles late Saturday night.
Officers were called to the area of W. Follett Street and N. Macy Street just before 11 p.m. to a report of shots fired.
Witnesses told officers gunfire was exchanged between a small, light-colored car and possibly a dark SUV. Both vehicles left the scene before police arrived.
Officers did not find anybody who’d been injured. However, they did find a loaded extended high-capacity handgun magazine in the middle of the roadway.
