BUCHANAN, Wis–The Pyrotechnics Guild International is now backing away from hosting its annual convention in the Fox Cities next year. A post on the P-G-I website this week says that it can no longer commit to holding their event at Wisconsin International Raceway in Buchanan.
Earlier this year, the fireworks group stated it would be filing the necessary paperwork for permits–but that has not yet happened. P-G-I now says an official decision on the site of the 2023 convention will be made in January.
