Tony Earl, former WI Governor, ailing

EAU CLAIRE, WI — Former Wisconsin Governor Tony Earl is “seriously ill” according to current Governor Tony Evers. During a stop to promote his state budget proposals in Eau Claire today, Governor Evers said…in his own words…”We’re praying for him.” Tony Earl is 86 years old and served as Wisconsin governor for one-term before losing to Tommy Thompson in 1986. Prior to his gubernatorial run, Earl was Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and as a member of the State Assembly.
