NEENAH, Wis. — Twelve people are displaced following an apartment fire in Neenah.
Crews were called to Neenah Court in the 2100 block of Marathon Avenue around 12:15 p.m. Sunday on the report of a fire.
Everyone inside the building was able to evacuate. One person suffered minor burns to their hands and face while trying to put out the fire. A firefighter suffered a knee injury while trying to escape the extreme heat.
Careless use of smoking material is believed to be the cause of the fire.
