Green Bay mosque stabbing suspect identified

GREEN BAY, WI — The suspect in a stabbing incident at a Green Bay mosque is identified. Green Bay Police say the suspect is 22-year-old Abdullahi Ali. He was arrested at the Islamic Society of Wisconsin mosque on Velp Avenue February 22nd. That following an alleged stabbing of a 52-year-old family member, who was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital and released. The Brown County District Attorney’s Office is charging Abdullahi Ali with First Degree Reckless Injury, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Bodily Harm to a Health Care Provider, Resisting an Officer and Bail Jumping.
