GREEN BAY. Wis–Criminal charges are filed against a man accused of setting fire to a Green Bay motel room. Levon Douglas is facing counts of Interfering with a Firefighter, Resisting an Officer and Disorderly Conduct.
According to the criminal complaint, crews were called to the Days Inn along East Mason Street Monday morning on the report of an active fire alarm. They allegedly found Douglas in a smoky room, standing naked, and refusing to evacuate. Burning clothes were found on an activated stovetop in the room.
Douglas also reportedly fought with firemen and police officers before being removed. He faces up to three years in prison if convicted.
