GRAND CHUTE, Wis–A suspect in a Grand Chute cold case murder says he is “not guilty”. Gene Meyer enters the plea in Outagamie County Court to charges of First Degree Murder and First Degree Sexual Assault.
Meyer is accused of raping and killing Betty Rolf before dumping her body beneath and overpass in November of 1988. He was arrested in Washington state earlier this year after D-N-A evidence allegedly linked him to the crime.
No trial date has been set.
