NEENAH, Wis. — One person is hurt in a Neenah house fire.
Crews were called to the home along the 1000 block of Hunt Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Friday to find a man with burns on much of his body.
The man told investigators that he had forgotten his dinner on the stove and attempted to throw a “cooking vessel” that was in flames into his backyard. He was taken to a Milwaukee burn center for treatment.
Crews were able to extinguish fires in both the kitchen and the back of the house.
