APPLETON, Wis–Another public works project in Appleton is delayed due to rising costs. The city planned to resurface the Miracle League ball diamond in Memorial Park, but Parks Director Dean Gazza says the bids for the work came in well above budget………….
The city initially expected to pay $175,000 for the resurfacing project. The bids came in at $320,000. The Miracle League plans to do additional fundraising and hopes to have the project done in 2024.
