NEENAH, Wis–The Neenah School Board will learn more about a new offer to purchase the former Shattuck Middle School site tonight (Tuesday). Four proposals have come in to the district for the property, with administrators recommending one from Neenah-based Investment Creations, L-L-C.
Investment Creations is proposing to convert the school building itself to as many as 48-apartment units with community spaces, and then use most of the rest of the property for single-family homes on fifty to sixty lots.
The group is offering $500,001 for the site. That is the third lowest offer made for the Shattuck Property.
Lakeside Development is offering $1.3-million, with plans to tear down the school and build 87 single-family homes on the site. The Neenah School Board will not be voting on accepting an offer tonight.
