Ok, confess. Like me, you forgot to put your scraper and snow brush back in the car before Tuesday’s snow event! I knew it!
My routine in the spring is to clear out the winter gear and throw the golf clubs, shoes, miscellaneous golf gear and golf hats into the car. And then, once the cold hits, you reverse the process and put scrapers, gloves, hats, etal back in to the ride. The gloves had gone back in, but I forgot to grab the scraper/snowbrush from the garage closet where it hibernates for 6 months… That said, I cleared off those inches of snow on Tuesday with my gloved hand….no scraper.
Which brings me to my final question on this topic: what is the funkiest thing you’ve ever used to scrape clean your windshield? I will admit that back in the day, I used an old cassette tape case(!), an expired( I hope) credit card and I seem to remember something about a tough Tupperware lid being used once.
When the going gets tough, the tough…improvise! And wait for the defrost to kick in.
