Suspect or suspects sought in Green Bay shooting death

GREEN BAY, WI — Green Bay Police continue the search for the suspect or suspects involved in a fatal shooting Friday afternoon on the city’s West side. Officers were called to an apartment complex in the1700 block of Western Avenue for a weapons call. When officers arrived they learned a 30-year-old man, who’d been attending a party at that location, was shot in the parking lot. That man was taken by witnesses to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported and police believe the shooting is an isolated incident with no risk to public safety. The investigation continues.
