WAUPACA, Wis–An Oshkosh man accused of killing a good Samaritan in a drunk driving crash says he is “not guilty”. Evan Barnick enters the plea in Waupaca County Court to charges of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle and Hit and Run Involving Death.
Barnick allegedly struck and killed Gerald Pagel, who had stopped to assist another driver along the side of a rural road in the town of Caledonia back in October. No trial date has been set.
