OSHKOSH, Wis–ThedaCare and Froedtert Health are asking for tax incremental financing in the construction of their new hospital in Oshkosh. City Manager Mark Rohloff says the polluted nature of the site along the south shore of the Fox River will make construction more expensive than first thought……………..
Rohloff adds that a TIF district had been created for the site years ago in anticipation of another development……………..
The amount of TIF funding has not been detailed yet. ThedaCare and Froedtert officials will present their case before the Oshkosh Common Council tomorrow (Tuesday) night.
