WAUPACA, Wis–A hearing to determine if there is enough evidence to try a Neenah man accused of killing four siblings in a drunk driving crash is delayed. Scott Farmer agrees to push his preliminary hearing in Waupaca County Court to next month to conform with victims’ rights laws. The family of the four killed in the crash is out of the country for burial services and were not able to attend today’s (Tuesday) scheduled hearing.
Farmer is charged with four counts of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle and O-W-I 5th Offense. He was allegedly driving the wrong way along Highway 10 in December when he struck a vehicle carrying the siblings head-on.
His new hearing date is February 23rd.
