MANITOWOC, Wis–Criminal charges are filed against two people in connection with the disappearance of a three year old boy in Two Rivers. Elijah Vue has not been seen since February 20th. His mother, Katrina Baur of Wisconsin Dells, is charged in Manitowoc County Court with Being Party to Child Neglect and Obstructing an Officer. Jesse Vang is also charged with Being Party to Child Neglect.
According to the criminal complaints, Baur sent the boy to live with Vang for two weeks to learn how to “be a man”. She is also accused of changing her story several times during initial questioning by police. Vang claims that he took a nap on that day and woke up to find Vue gone. Both face up to three years in prison if convicted.
