APPLETON, Wis–A Grand Chute town supervisor accused of benefiting financially from a municipal project is acquitted on a criminal charge against him. An Outagamie County jury returns a verdict of “not guilty” for Ron Wolff on charges of Private Interest in a Public Contract.
Wolff’s company, Lakeshore Cleaners, was awarded a contract to do work on the ponds at the Champions Center after he had been sworn into office on the Grand Chute Town Board in 2021. He had maintained that he was acting on the advice of town officials in bidding on and accepting that contract.
