SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — One person is dead and another is hurt following a shooting incident in Sheboygan.
Police were called to a home in the 2700 block of S. 9th Street shortly before 10 a.m. Wednesday to find a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound under his eye. He was taken to the hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
Officers learned that the person responsible was still inside, which led to a standoff. They later entered and found a 52-year-old man dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The incident remains under investigation.
