TOWN OF CENTER, Wis. — Two motorcyclists are seriously injured in a crash along Highway 47 just north of Appleton.
The crash happened at the intersection with County Highway S just before 11 a.m. Wednesday.
According to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcycles reportedly collided with an SUV that had pulled out from a stop sign. All three vehicles then collided with an oncoming semi.
The 36-year-old Milwaukee man operating one of the motorcycles was airlifted to ThedaCare Medical Center Neenah with critical injuries. The 64-year-old Appleton man operating the other motorcycle was taken to another hospital with serious injuries.
The 38-year-old man driving the SUV was arrested on charges of Knowingly Operating While Revoked Causing Great Bodily Harm.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
