APPLETON, Wis–Two people are hurt in an Appleton house fire. Crews were called to the duplex along the 34oo block of East Canary Street around 2:30 this (Tuesday) morning to find smoke coming from the upstairs unit.
The fire was contained to a bathroom. Two residents were taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. Damage is estimated at $150,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
