MENASHA, Wis. — The UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities campus in Menasha is closing.
Chancellor Andrew Leavitt says the move is based on enrollment, which has declined nearly 67% over the past decade………….
The final day of operations will be June 30th of next year. While the campus is located in Winnebago County, Outagamie County has expressed interest in its future–and had asked U-W-O officials for a plan. But Executive Tom Nelson tells Ben Cominos on Outside the Box that the county had been “strung along” in the process………….
Nelson adds that officials have given up on a great facility…
The closure of UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities follows that of the UWO Fond du Lac campus this spring.
