WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Wis. — Winnebago County sets an undesired record in 2023.
According to an annual report from the county’s Overdose Fatality Review team, there were a record 47 overdose deaths last year.
The majority were caused by fentanyl and involved people between the ages of 18 and 44.
