APPLETON, Wis. — An Appleton man is now charged in a hit-and-run crash with a bicyclist last Wednesday on N. Mead Street.
Alic Riedel, 28, is charged with hit-and-run involving great bodily harm.
According to the criminal complaint, Riedel told police he thought someone had thrown a rock at his vehicle. The victim suffered massive injuries, including head trauma, though is improving.
Bond for Riedel is set at $25,000. A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
