MENASHA, Wis. — A Menasha man is in custody following a standoff with police.
Officers were called to Matthews Tire in the 1600 block of Appleton Road around 7:20 a.m. Sunday to find broken glass and the 34-year-old armed with a large samurai sword.
The suspect allegedly destroyed property inside while officers tried negotiating with him. He was eventually taken into custody with the help of a K-9 unit.
No injuries were reported.
Criminal charges are pending.
