TOWN OF BUCHANAN, Wis. — One person is dead and another is hurt following a crash in Outagamie County.
The sheriff’s office says an SUV was heading east on the westbound side of Highway CE when it collided head-on with a pickup truck at Highway N in the town of Buchanan shortly before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The 70-year-old Buchanan man driving the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. The 51-year-old Appleton man operating the truck was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
