APPLETON, Wis. — One person is in custody in connection with a disturbance in Appleton.
Police were called to a residence in the 1800 block of S. Sanders Street around 7:30 a.m. Sunday on reports of a disturbance with a weapon.
A male got in a vehicle and drove off as officers arrived. He allegedly led a chase on State Highway 441 and Interstate 41 before stopping and trying to take off on foot. He was taken into custody safely.
Investigators believe the incident to be isolated in nature, with no threat to the public.
