FOND du LAC, Wis–A Fond du Lac woman is accused of setting her restaurant on fire as part of an insurance scam. Arletta Allen is indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of Arson and Wire Fraud.

Allen’s A Family Affair Soul Food Kitchen along South Main Street in Fond du Lac was destroyed by a fire in October of 2021. Investigators determined that the fire was set intentionally, and that Allen had been in the building minutes before the blaze was reported by passersby.
She faces up to 55-years in prison if convicted.
