APPLETON, Wis–One person is hurt in an Appleton house fire. Crews were called to the home in the 1800-block of South Walden Avenue around 8:00 this (Friday) morning on the report of smoke and flames in a bathroom.
One person was taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
This will result in a second red light bulb going on the wreaths outside of Appleton fire stations.
