Beyond the News-A delicious surprise!
As you may know, I occasionally come across a bottle of vino that I just need to tell others about. I think this little delight qualifies!
My wife and I tend to lean heavily towards bold reds, but there are times a fruity, sippable funster comes along in the white variety like this one from Rod Easthope.
This wine greets you with a vibrant nose and the taste will catch you right away with a fruit-forward, crisp note. This Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is very flavorful, but not too sweet to chase away those that prefer a drier wine. With dry whites, we tend to lean towards gently buttered Chard’s, but this New Zealand sipper was fresh and satisfying.
Oh, and it’s affordable with most listings I noticed in the 12$ to 15$ range. Enjoy!
