SHAWANO LAKE, Wis. — An attempted food delivery to fishermen on Shawano Lake leads to a vehicle in the water and the driver going to jail.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office says it was alerted to a van going through the ice on the lake around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The driver had left the scene before deputies arrived. He was not hurt.
According to investigators, the driver was attempting to deliver food to someone fishing on the ice when the van broke through.
The driver was arrested on an unrelated matter.
