GREENVILLE, Wis. — A driver manages to get inside the fence at Appleton International Airport and drives on some of the roads near the runway.
Officials say the elderly woman became confused, drove through a gate just after 3 p.m. Tuesday and drove on the interior roads.
Airport operations were put on hold until Outagamie County sheriff’s deputies arrived and got the woman to stop.
No one was hurt.
