FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A Fond du Lac man involved in a fatal shooting reaches a plea deal with prosecutors.
Anthony Johnston is convicted in Fond du Lac County Court on charges of being party to first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide, reckless injury, reckless endangerment and injury by negligent use of a dangerous weapon.
Johnston was 17 years old when he and Parise Larry opened fire on people outside the Maplewood Commons apartment complex in May of 2023. Tatyanna Zech was killed, while others were injured.
Johnston faces life in prison, but no sentencing date has been set. Larry is set to stand trial on Oct. 6.
