MARINETTE, Wis. — A Coleman man who killed a child in a drugged driving crash reaches a plea deal with prosecutors.
Michael Galbraith is convicted in Marinette County Court on charges of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle and operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance with a minor passenger.
Galbraith ran a stop sign along U.S. Highway 41 and was struck by an oncoming vehicle in October of 2023. An 8-month-old girl riding with him was killed.
He faces up to 10 years in prison when sentenced on May 1.
