APPLETON, Wis. — An Appleton man who robbed a downtown bank 14 years after holding up the same institution reaches a plea deal with prosecutors.
Martin Schiedermayer is convicted in Outagamie County Court on one count of robbery of a financial institution.
Schiedermayer passed a threatening note to a teller at the Wells Fargo Bank branch on S. State Street last month, making off with $2,000 in cash. He was found guilty of robbing the same bank back in 2011 and served 3.5 years in prison.
He faces up to 40 years behind bars when sentenced again on April 17.
