FOX CROSSING, Wis–The former headquarters of the Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Fox Crossing may become senior living. Evergreen Retirement Community of Oshkosh has purchased the 43-acre property along the 400-block of North Lake Street.
Evergreen plans to convert the current buildings on the site to assisted and independent living units. Additional buildings could be constructed in the future. Plans will be provided to the village of Fox Crossing later this spring.
K-C operated the headquarters building from 1956 to 1985 before moving to Irving, Texas. The building served as office space until 2020.
