OSHKOSH, WI — A third person is arrested in connection with an Oshkosh shooting incident. Police say a 15-year-old Menasha boy was taken into custody Thursday. Officers stopped a vehicle Wednesday evening following a report of multiple gunshots in the 11-hundred block of Cherry Street. A search of the car and a residence turned up handguns and marijuana. A 19-year-old Neenah man and a 16-year-old Oshkosh boy were taken into custody. The shooting was one of two reported in Oshkosh on Wednesday. Police are investigating whether they are related.

OSHKOSH, Wis–Oshkosh Police are investigating two shooting incidents. Officers were initially called to the 1100-block of Cherry Street around 5:45 Wednesday evening on the report of multiple gunshots in the area. Police stopped a vehicle with several people inside of it. A search reportedly turned up a handgun and marijuana.
A residence was searched as part of the investigation, and officers found another handgun and more marijuana. A 19-year old Neenah man and a 16-year old Oshkosh boy were taken into custody. One other suspect fled the scene on foot and is still at large.
Then, around 10:35 Wednesday night, officers were called to the 300-block of Dove Street on the report of more shots fired. The alleged shooter then drove off.
No arrests have been made in connection with that shooting. Investigators are not sure if the two incidents are related. Anyone with information should contact Oshkosh Police.
