STURGEON BAY, Wis. — A Sturgeon Bay man will spend 20 years in prison for attacking a woman and a child with a hedge trimmer.
Jacob Miller is also sentenced in Door County Court to 10 years on extended supervision for attempted first-degree intentional homicide, armed robbery with the use of force and child abuse intentionally causing bodily harm.
Miller broke into a Sturgeon Bay home in April of 2022, attacking a woman living there with the hedge trimmer and also injuring a child.
An elderly man who owned the home was also injured while trying to stop Miller.
