CRANDON, Wis. — A Laona woman will spend 10 years in prison for running over and killing her husband while driving drunk.
Mary Terry is also sentenced in Forest County Court to 10 years on extended supervision for homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
Terry struck and killed her husband, Donald Britten, Jr., dragging his body along U.S. Highway 8 for nearly 50 feet in October of 2023.
Her blood alcohol level was more than four-times the legal limit to drive at the time.
