MARINETTE COUNTY, Wis. — Four people are dead following separate weekend crashes in Marinette County.
In the first incident, Daniel Mrotek of Berlin reportedly failed to stop at the intersection of Highway A and Moonshine Hill Road in the town of Stephenson and struck a vehicle driven by Thomas Robe of Oak Creek around 9:20 p.m. Friday. Both drivers and Robe’s passenger, Sharon Robe of Oak Creek, died from their injuries.
Then around 9:25 a.m. Monday, Jessica Garbaciak of Peshtigo reportedly lost control of her vehicle along Highway X in the town of Wagner and crashed into a ditch. Garbaciak was thrown from the vehicle and died from her injuries.
Both crashes remain under investigation.
