OSHKOSH, Wis–An Oshkosh kindergartner is injured after being hit by a car outside of school. According to a notice sent to parents, the incident took place at Emmeline Cook Elementary during morning dropoff.

The child ran into Hazel Street and was struck by a vehicle. The student was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and was conscious and alert.
Counselors are on hand to work with children that may have witnessed the incident.
