FOND DU LAC, Wis. — A $500,000 cash bond is set for a woman who sped through downtown Fond du Lac Friday to evade police, which ended in a crash damaging nine vehicles and caused two of them to catch fire.
Numerous people were injured in that crash.
According to a criminal complaint, Kaitlynn Ray alleged drove nearly 80 miles an hour in a 25 mile-an-hour zone.
Ray is charged with 25 counts, including first-degree recklessly endangering safety – repeater, felony eluding – repeater, felony bail jumping – repeater, operating while under the influence of an intoxicant – causing injury, operating after revocation, possession of THC – repeater, and possession of drug paraphernalia – repeater.
A preliminary hearing for Ray is scheduled for July 18.
