TOWN OF NIAGARA, Wis. — An 18-year-old man is killed in a UTV crash in Marinette County.
The sheriff’s office received a report of a UTV that had rolled over near Hobart Lane in the Town of Niagara around 4:45 p.m. Saturday.
An investigation determined that Gabriel Avila-Neuheisel of Menominee Falls was riding on a dirt trail on private property when he lost control of the UTV and was thrown from the vehicle after it rolled. Avila-Neuheisel died from his injuries.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office says he was not wearing a seatbelt or helmet at the time of the crash.
