APPLETON, Wis–Appleton Police are encouraging users of electric bicycles to follow the rules of the road. In a Facebook post, the department shows traffic camera footage showing a group of e-bike riders going the wrong way through a roundabout, narrowly avoiding on-coming traffic.
The department encourages families to discuss safe operation of such bikes.
