OSHKOSH, Wis. — An alleged reckless driver is in custody following an incident in Oshkosh.
Police received a report around 2:10 p.m. Wednesday of a vehicle that nearly ran another vehicle off of Interstate 41 and was swerving.
The suspect exited the freeway at W. 9th Avenue where he allegedly jumped the roundabout at the top of the off-ramp and drove on sidewalks before going to a gas station near Witzel Avenue and S. Koeller Street.
The driver then went around a police car and onto Witzel, leading to a chase. The 46-year-old Neenah man was stopped a short time later and taken into custody.
Criminal charges are pending.
